My new policy of freeing up time to allow creativity has exploded and now I am thinking up new things I want to explore too fast to do justice to any of them!
Right now I am currently: operating my construction related business thirty hours a week, taking a course in non-fiction, which is getting about thirty minutes of the two hours it deserves, bailing entirely on my coaching instruction for the month of May, happily installing all sorts of bells and whistles on this little blog/website, coaching two wonderful people to further success, studying my digital camera in preparation for my upcoming trip to Italy, managing my neighborhood civic website, which doesn’t take much time, taking care of my neighbor’s cat while she’s on vacation and getting ready to attend the Atlanta Writers Conference.
There I will meet with Sorche Fairbank, an agent who has done a critique of my first 100 pages of my novel, “Wiregrass Country”.
I’m looking forward to her comments, I will use them to do one more re-write of the first 100 if necessary, then I will send out to just ten more agents.
After that, I plan to self-publish. Is there a point to this post? Yes. In the process of re-invention, you will find that many things you felt were absolutely essential in your life – really aren’t! Then a process of elimination takes place, which distills your direction to one or two things you REALLY enjoy.
