Archibald Wilkerson/Wilkinson (McQuilkin)Although we do know that this forebearer of our family moved to Georgia from North Carolina (according to family verbal history from Robeson County) and that he died in Troup County, Georgia in 1829, leaving a wife in her mid-40s and five orphans, plus several adult children, we have been unable to confirm his family ties in North Carolina. We think he may have been related to Angus, Daniel, Peter, Duncan, John, Neill Wilkerson but have no proof. Margarett, his wife when he died, may have been a second wife. |
